Maui Adventure Cruises Review

Recently on a family visit to Maui, we decided to do a snorkeling trip. Personally, I prefer to laze on the beach and take a dip in the ocean MACexplorerfastwhen I need to cool off, but I didn’t want to miss out on family time so I decided to tagMR_SIDE2_MAC along. We’d been told that maui Adventure Cruises was our best choice for snorkeling, so we decided to do their Lanai Landing Dolphin Adventure. We checked in at Lahaina Harbor and were treated to fresh Kona coffee and pastries while we waited, and then we were each given a soft sided cooler bag with a turkey wrap, Maui chips, and cookies for our lunch. On board they had fresh pineapple and granola bars and ice chests full of sodas, juices, and bottled water. With all that taken care of we set off across the channel to Lanai. We landed at Manele Harbor and then took a short walk to the Hulopo’e Beach at Manele Bay where there is a truly beautiful white sand, crescent shaped beach. Now this is right up my alley! There were lots of shaded picnic tables where we could sit and chat and enjoy our picnic lunch. Next up was what we came for – so we snorkeled in the bay and were thrilled to encounter a pod of spinner dolphins, as well as, green turtles and lots of really brightly colored fish. I hiked to Sweetheart Rock, and waded in the tide pools. Altogether we had 3 hours on the island, and on the way back we stopped off at an off shore snorkel site and my family got to snorkel again! A most enjoyable day for all concerned, I totally recommend it!  You can call them at 808-661-5550 and visit their website
